Publications
NSChE planned the Abuja2024 to be paperless and 100% digital conference. Hence, all publications including the final program, book of abstract, the conference proceedings and others will be provided to participants as soft copies on a flash drive. The PowerPoint slides will also be provided online after the conference. However, participants can choose to have a hardcopy of the conference proceedings at production cost. You can choose this in the registration page.

Conference Attire
NSChE conferences are generally business casual.

Meals
NSChE will provide lunches 14-16 November, coffee breaks 14-16 April and dinner on the 16th at the conference venue. Participants on special diet are advised to speak with a representative of the welfare committee to check if their preferences can be met. This does not guarantee accommodation of individual preferences.

Accessibility
If you have a disability and/or have special accessibility needs and require assistance, send your requests and phone number by email to conference@nsche.org by 13/10/2024 and a representative of the HSSE sub-committee will call you to discuss your specific needs.

Video/Audio Policy
Individuals officially identified by NSChE may photograph, videotape, and/or audiotape conference events. By attending the conference, you agree to allow your image to be used by NSChE. However, individuals are not permitted to obstruct the views of other participants. NSChE has official photographers who will capture images of key events such as fellowship investiture and awards, post them online in real time and accessed by registered participants to download. Aluminum Banner Stand has been provided at designated locations for pictures.

Insurance and Liability
NSChE, the LOC, and the venue will not be responsible for medical expenses, accidents, losses, or other unexpected damage to property belonging to conference participants, either during or as a result of the conference and during all tours and events. Participants are strongly advised to arrange their own insurance for health and accident, lost luggage, and trip cancellation.

Registration and Fees
All conference participants, including delegates, sessions chairs, invited speakers, organizers, exhibitors, and paper presenters, are required to register for the conference. NSChE does not have funds available to pay registration and/or travel expenses for program participants. Delegates will receive a name badge upon check-in. The badge is an official pass and must be worn to obtain entry to conference functions. If tickets are required for any events, they will be distributed by the LOC.

Payment and Refund Policies
To qualify for the Early Bird rate, both the registration form and payment must be received by 31 August 2024. Fees are accepted by a Debit or Credit Card charged in Naira for local participants and in USD for foreign delegates. Avail yourself with the available methods of registration on the registration page. Registration closes 25 October 2024; we encourage participants to pre-register by 25 October to enable the LOC plan ahead for your stress-free participation. NSChE will refund registration fees upon written request received before 25 October 2024. An amount equivalent to 15% processing fee will be retained. After 25 October, no refunds will be issued for cancellations or no-shows. Substitutions for paid registrants may be made in writing without financial penalty. Refunds will be issued after the conference.
