Dr Jamari has a Doctorate Degree in Flow Assurance Engineering from Imperial College London, Master's degree in Gas Engineering and Management from The University of Salford, and bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria. Dr. Jamari is a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers.
He started his career as a Research Fellow at the Center for Energy Reseacrch, ABU Zaria in the renewable energy department and worked with Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) Warri before joining the Gas Development Department of NPDC (now NNPC E&P Limited). He managed the Oredo Integrated Gas Handling Facility (IGHF) project, which comprises a 100MMscfd gas processing plant, and LGP plant Storage and dispensing facility.
He also managed the Oredo-Ovade(POOC), which comprises a 10,000 BOBP flow station, 100mmscfd wet gas compression station and 22km, 10"(inch) pipeline that supplies 100mmscfd of raw gas to Ovade gas plant.
